I had a great time working with two other artists on this piece. It was a design by committee which is usually a disaster but all things considered we had a good group that worked well together. I came on late to the project and helped redesign some parts, namely the shoulders arms and head, model and uv-ed some of the never-ending parts, and was given the opportunity to texture the whole thing.
I used substance painter for the entire thing, over 125 udim tiles at 4k or more.
I also added lights to the robot with another lighter, and lit the 2 scenes shown in the clip. Rendered in redshift.
